  • Packaging weights should be entered per sales unit sold. So, if you sell butter in cardboard boxes and your sales units are the number of packs of butter you sell, then you enter the primary packaging as is. The secondary packaging should be divided by the number of packs of butter that it contains. So, if 24 packs of butter go in each cardboard box, the weight of the secondary box should be divided by 24. Similarly, the pallet weight should also be divided by the number of packs of butter it holds.
