Repak Events
Repak always aim to inform and educate the general public through a wide variety of initiatives, such as Repak Recycling Week, Green Christmas and the Green Schools Programme.
Repak is an organization aimed at industry professionals and the Membership Services Department is focused on hosting and promoting events aimed specifically at Repak member companies, including those in industry at decision making level in the packaging design process. All events are targeted at reducing packaging and rewarding companies who are successful in doing so.
Repak Members Conference
At the Repak Members Conference (held in October), members are given updates on Repak’s progress in meeting national recycling targets during the course of the year, fee information and ministerial directives relating to packaging and the environment. Attendees are encouraged to share their innovations in packaging technology and to meet with the Repak staff and discuss their companies individual needs and to offer suggestions or ask questions on the Repak model.
The Repak Members Conference is a good opportunity for smaller business to gain an insight into the cost saving initiatives being undertaken by larger producers of products. Invitations to these events are issued to all Repak members by email during the weeks preceding them. European Week for Waste Reduction
As part of the week's activities in Ireland, Repak are teaming up with Greenbusiness.ie and SEAI to organise three events aimed at helping companies reduce costs associated with Packaging, Energy, Water and Food wastes.
The complete supply chain event for Ireland’s processing industries. PACKAGING, PROCESSING & LOGISTICS 2012. This unique event will enable manufacturers to access the full range of products and services required to take a product to market.
