About the Repak Awards

The Repak Recycling Awards recognise the efforts and ingenuity of its Business Members, Local Authorities, Collectors and young people in the area of packaging prevention, reuse and recycling.

The objective of the Repak Awards is to promote and encourage good recycling practice amongst industry, local authorities, waste contractors and our youth.

The Repak Recycling Award trophy is made from recovered/recycled glass, wood, steel and plastic. These represent the four material packaging types. The award was specially commissioned by Repak and was crafted by artist Ronan Halpin based in Kilkenny
