Repak Awards 2010

Congratulations to all our finalists and winners at our 10th Repak Conference and Awards Ceremony which was held at the new Convention Centre in Spencer Dock on the 7th October. The awards recognise the efforts and ingenuity of its members, local authorities, collectors and young people in the area of packaging prevention, reuse and recycling.

The objective of the Repak Recycling Awards is to promote and encourage good recycling practice amongst industry, local authorities, waste contractors and our youth.

About the award:
The Repak Recycling Award trophy is made from recovered and recycled glass, wood, steel and plastic. These represent the four material packaging types. The award was specially commissioned by Repak and was crafted by artist Ronan Halpin based in Kilkenny.
